JK Performing Arts – Terms and Conditions
By enrolling your child at JK Performing Arts, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing registration.
1. Enrolment and Class Commitment
- Enrolment at JK Performing Arts is for a full academic term (as outlined by our schedule).
- Fees for classes are due in advance and are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the management.
- Regular attendance is expected to ensure consistent training and participation in group work.
2. Annual Performances
- JK Performing Arts stages two full-scale productions per year, which all students are encouraged to participate in.
- While participation in the shows is not compulsory, it is a valuable part of the student’s development and performance training.
- If your child will not be participating in a production, you must notify the school in writing by the specified deadline for that show.
3. Rehearsal and Show Fees
- Students involved in productions are required to attend whole school rehearsals, scheduled in addition to regular classes.
- These rehearsals will incur additional rehearsal fees, which will be clearly communicated in advance.
- A Show Day Fee will also apply to cover the costs of staffing, venue, and production logistics.
- All associated fees must be paid in full by the stated deadlines in order for your child to participate.
4. Costumes
- Students participating in productions are responsible for purchasing their own costumes.
- Costumes must match exactly the specifications provided by the teaching staff (including colour, style, and accessories) to ensure a professional and unified stage presentation.
- Costume requirements and purchase details will be communicated well in advance of the show.
5. Communication and Notices
- All important dates, schedules, and payment deadlines will be communicated via email or our official communication platform.
- It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check for updates and respond as needed in a timely manner.
6. Behaviour and Attendance
- Students are expected to behave respectfully, show commitment in classes and rehearsals, and support their peers.
- Repeated poor behaviour or excessive absences may lead to exclusion from performances or classes, with no refund of fees.
7. Media Consent
- By enrolling, you grant permission for JK Performing Arts to use photographs and video footage of your child for marketing, publicity, and educational purposes, unless you notify us in writing otherwise.
8. Changes and Amendments
- JK Performing Arts reserves the right to make changes to class schedules, teaching staff, and production plans where necessary.
- Terms and conditions may be reviewed and updated periodically. Continued enrolment implies acceptance of the most recent version.
